A highlight of our unit on Surrey was our road trip, on the little yellow school bus. Although the weather was bordering on awful, we neverthless had a wonderful time. The stops included historical sites, and other important landmarks.

Surrey Urban Forest
Our trip to the Surrey Urban Forest was awesome! Great weather, great trails and a wonderful, interactive session with our guides made for a fantastic day! We got a chance to dig, observe, touch, smell and learn about the insect critters in a local forest.
Getting Acquainted
Because we are a combination class of grade 2 and 3 students, we spent time early on in the year getting to know each other across the grades. Here we are looking for picture clues in I Spy pictures.
Honeybee Centre
Way back in September we went to the Honeybee Centre as part of our Insect study. Do you remember tasting the pollen, the royal jelly and the honey?
